It had been a challenge that was looked at from several vantage points, and this report is complimented by numerous maps looks at several routes, from Chicago, to Milwaukee to Fond Du Lac to the "Neenah and Wiskonsin" Rivers as a possible connection route to the Mississippi. This report and maps by Capt Cram really focus on the potential of Neenah (Fox) River and Wisconsin river routes. Three sheets look at the overall situation on one sheet, the two rivers mentioned, and a final sheet with eight small maps looking at the rapids, chutes and potential portage between the rivers. A rare report for the primitive state of Wisconsin.
