A nice early coast to coast map of the nation. Shows the states and territories as they were with the major cities and towns. While numerous placenames are recognizable in the Southwest, such as "Texas", "Galveston", or "Santa Fe", the entire region is still a part of the Mexican empire. Most of this region is obscured by a mileage chart, and what isn't is simply referred to as "Unexplored Region". Does show the massive "Missouri Territory" covering most of the West up to the continental divide, and beyond that lay the "Oregon Territory" which here reaches up into what would be British Columbia.

Condition good with marginal soiling and dampstaining. Image size is approximately 10 x 17 (inches)
