Lt. Wheeler’s plan was to map the entire west section by section. This was only partly completed but the maps that were done are usually the most detailed maps then available. This map covers a large span from south of Santa Fe (here shown, but just off the map), south past Albuquerque to Peralta, stretching east to small town of Pedernal. It is best in it’s depiction of trails and terrain, but towns, settlements, trails and even some buildings are included.
Condition is good with some marginal rips. Image size is approximately 17.5 x 20.5(inches)
